  • “How much do your cakes cost?”
    Prices start at $6.50/serving and $11/serving for 3D/carved and can vary depending on the complexity of the design.
  • “How much notice do you need for a cake?”
    7 days is preferable.
  • “Do you deliver or do I need to pickup?”
    I offer both. I offer delivery to all of Utah. The delivery fee is contingent on the county and location.
    Delivery to Utah, Salt Lake, Davis, and Summit counties is $40+mileage to/from. Delivery to all other counties is $20/hour+mileage to/from.
    – Pickup is also available for free. Pickups have a 30 minute window, late pickups will incur a late fee.
    – Pickup is NOT available for 3-tiered cakes and up due to the delicate nature of the cake, no exceptions.
  • “Can you do gluten-free?”
    Yes, most of my cakes can be made Gluten Free. Please note that my kitchen is not a designated GF kitchen and there will always be a risk of cross contamination from products containing gluten. I try my best to sanitize what I can when making a GF cake to help minimize the risk of cross-contamination and I do not accept other orders containing these allergens when working on gluten-free or nut-free cakes.
  • “Can you do Dairy Free?”
    Yes. I use vegan butter and coconut cream/milk for the cake and frostings. There are a few flavors that cannot be made dairy free. Message me for more details.
  • “Do you provide cake toppers?”
    Yes! I offer custom paper toppers and wood toppers. $5 per paper topper and $10 per wood topper. At this time, I do not offer acrylic toppers.
  • “Do you provide the cake stand?”
    I do have stands available to rent. Rentals are $25 for 3 days, with a $50 refundable security deposit upon the stand’s undamaged return. Click here for more details.
  • “Do you offer cake testing?”
    Yes, wedding cakes only. Any wedding cake over $400 includes free cake tasting with up to 4 flavor combinations (The amount is taken off your final order). I offer them for wedding cakes under $400 but is an additional $50. If you would like to schedule a cake tasting please contact me as these are available quarterly.
  • “Do you have a minimum order?”
    – Cupcakes have a minimum order. 2 dozen minimum for regular 2″ cupcakes. Mini Cupcakes have a 3 dozen minimum order.
  • “Do I have to pay for it all at once?”
    ALL orders under $100 must be paid for in full at the time of order. Orders above $100 require a 50% non-refundable retainer at the time of order with the final payment due two weeks before the event date. Non-payment will result in your order being canceled.   • “What forms of payment do you accept?”
    I can accept Venmo, Credit/Debit, and Cash. I no longer accept checks.
    – Rentals are Credit/Debit only.
  • “Are you licensed and insured?”
    Yes! I am licensed with the state of Utah and with the city of Vineyard. Take The Cake is insured and I also have a valid food handlers permit.
